FACULTY OF BUSINESS MANAGEMENT AND THE INDUSTRY

On the 20th February 2013, the Faculty of Business Management (FBM) had the opportunity to have two discussion sessions with representatives from Allianz Life Insurance Malaysia Berhad and Ardent Education Consultants Sdn Bhd, respectively. The discussions were timely as it is the aspiration of UiTM’s Vice Chancellor that the university has a firmer and more effective linkage with the industry.

The discussions ended on a positive note and that further meetings would be held to ensure the desired objectives are met.

The companies are keen to engage in a meaningful relationship with the faculty especially in providing internship and career opportunities for FBM students and fresh graduates as well as research collaborations with academicians from the faculty. A total of 6 initiatives have been identified and would be explored further to bring a significant outcome to both parties.
